Fair on files, fair on you.
How refunds and replacements work for digital downloads, bundles, and printed editions.
Digital downloads are non-refundable once downloaded.
Ebooks, workbooks, journals, spreadsheets, audio, and video are delivered instantly and cannot be returned. Once a file has been downloaded from your account, or once the signed download link has been used, the sale is final.
We will always refund a broken file.
If the file you receive is corrupted, blank, the wrong version, or fails to open in a standard reader, we will replace it or refund you in full. Report the issue within 14 days of purchase and include a screenshot or error message so we can fix it for everyone.
Read the preview before you buy.
Every product page includes a description, table of contents, and — where available — sample pages. Because you can inspect the product before purchase, we do not refund for change of mind, buyer's remorse, or a product not matching an unstated expectation.
Bought the same file twice? Tell us.
If you accidentally bought the same product twice, or bought a title already included in a bundle you own, email us within 30 days and we will refund the duplicate charge.
Bundles refund as a whole, not piece by piece.
Bundle pricing reflects a discount on the group. Individual titles inside a bundle are not separately refundable. If a bundle's contents change materially before your purchase is delivered, contact us for a full refund.
Print orders are covered against damage and defects.
Printed editions and bulk orders are produced on demand and cannot be returned once a print run has started. Damaged, defective, or misprinted books are replaced free of charge when reported within 14 days of delivery with photos.
Custom bulk orders start with a review-and-approve proof.
Before any custom or co-branded bulk order ships or goes to print, we send an initial batch — typically the first 1–3 finished units or a full digital proof — for your written approval. That review window is your refund window: if the proof does not meet spec, we revise or issue a full refund before the balance is invoiced. Once you approve the proof and the full run is produced, the order is non-refundable except for damage or defects.
Non-custom bulk orders follow the standard digital policy.
Off-the-shelf bulk seat licenses, team libraries, and standard (non-co-branded) bulk PDF orders are digital goods and are non-refundable once seats or download links have been issued. Teams of 25–100 seats can request a 14-day pilot before committing to a full annual license.
Organizations can request samples before buying.
HR, benefits, and procurement teams can request full sample copies of any guide, workbook, or bundle for internal evaluation. Samples are provided at no cost, by request only, and are watermarked for evaluation use.
Requesting a refund or replacement

1. Time window
Report file defects, wrong-version deliveries, and duplicate charges within 14 days of purchase for the fastest resolution. Duplicate-charge refunds are honored up to 30 days. Printed-edition damage or defects must be reported within 14 days of delivery with photos.
2. What to include
- Order number or email on the order.
- Product name and, if applicable, format (PDF, workbook, MP4, MP3).
- Short description of the issue, plus a screenshot or error message for file problems, or photos for printed items.
3. How to reach us
Email support@theadultingvault.com. We respond within one business day and resolve most tickets in under 48 hours.
4. How the refund is issued
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe. Depending on your bank, funds typically appear in 5–10 business days. For replacements, we regenerate a fresh signed download link — no need to buy the item again.
5. What is not eligible
- Change of mind after the file has been downloaded.
- Products the customer read, printed, or annotated and then requested to return.
- Requests submitted after the applicable time window.
- Purchases made through unauthorized third-party resellers.
- Chargebacks filed without first contacting us; we always try to resolve the issue directly.
6. Statutory rights
This policy does not limit any non-waivable consumer rights in your country or state. Where local law grants stronger digital-goods protections, those rules apply.
